The State-Times (Baton Rouge, LA), Friday, April 25, 1941

Mrs. Pierre Mistric, 80, mother of Mrs. Leo J. Lassalle of Baton Rouge, died 
this morning at 2 o'clock at her home on Court street in Opelousas following 
an illness of several months.

Mrs. Mistric, the former Azema Robin of St. Landry parish, was a member of a 
well known family of that section and leaves a large number of descendants 
in this part of the state.

Her funeral will be held Saturday from the residence, with services to 
follow at 10 o'clock at the Opelousas Catholic church. Burial will be in the 
cemetery there.

Mrs. Mistric was educated at the Sacred Heart college, Grand Coteau, and had 
made her home in Opelousas since 1912.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Paul J. Cuenot of Wilmette, Ill.; 
Mrs. G. L. Lassalle, Mrs. Irl White, Mrs. Albert Hebert, all of Opelousas, 
and Mrs. Leo J. Lassalle of Baton Rouge; and by three sons, Oscar J. and 
Walter J. Mistric of Leonville and Dr. Gilbert Mistric of Opelousas, and by 
a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Among the grandchildren 
are Mrs. Henry C. Hatcher of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Jack Wenck of New Orleans, 
Mrs. John White of Opelousas and Dr. Francis Lassalle of New Orleans. She 
was the aunt of the Rev. Father Robin, pastor of the Catholic church at 
Plaquemine.

NOTE: Azema Robin Mistric is buried in section 5 of the Saint Landry Catholic 
Church cemetery located in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
