CHARLES EBEN MIXER DEAD Dr. Charles Eben Mixer died at the family home, near Rosa, this parish, on last Saturday, August 10. The deceased leaves a mother and four sisters, all residing near Rosa. The interment took place in the burying ground near the old home place, with funeral services conducted by Rev J. D. Harper, of the Opelousas Methodist Church. Dr. Mixer was one of the best known residents of that section of the parish, his family having resided there for many years. In his death the fourth ward losses one of its best citizens. The Clarion tenders its sympathies to the bereaved relatives.
