Morgan, Esq. The ever shifting scenes in the drama of life have forever removed from our gaze the form of the loved and sprightly little Percy. Who that ever knew his gentle, winning nature and genial soul could restrain the bitter tear of regret! To his circle of playmates, by whom he was so warmly cherished, his decease was truly a sad announcement; - but to them and to him whose titles of endearment were brother and son, and from whose fond embraces he was so suddenly snatched, what words can convey their overwhelming bereavement! Alas! alas! "They know that he is happy, With his angel plumage on: But their hearts are very desolate To think that he is gone." Opelousas, October 6th, 1868.
