Mrs. Mornhinveg was born and lived all of her life in this parish, she was the daughter of Rudolph and Louise Chachere, members of one of the most prominent families in this section of the state. Besides her daughter, Miss Estelle and her husband, Mrs. Mornhinveg leaves three brothers, A. L., Rudolph and Moses Chachere, and one sistes (sic), Mrs. Geo. Pulford. The funeral services were held in the Opelousas Catholic Church and the remains were buried in the Catholic grave yard, where a number of friends and relatives paid their last tribute to this highly esteemed lady. Mrs. Mornhinveg was only 42 years of age. To the grief stricken family the Clarion joins with their friends in extending sympathy.
