St. Landry Clarion (Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, November 11, 1911, Image 1

Francois Damon Pitre died at his residence in Plaisance in this parish on Nov. 
5th, 1911, at 10:30 p. m., aged 73 years. Deceased was one of the oldest and 
best known citizens of that vicinity, and leaves a large family connection to 
mourn his loss. The funeral took place from the Catholic Church here on last 
Monday.

NOTE: Francois Damon Pitre is buried in section 11 of the Saint Landry 
Catholic Church cemetery located in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
