O. Richard On Monday, March 28, 1921, at 10:15 a. m., Ellen Udora Neyland, widow of the late C. Oliver Richard, passed away after a lingering illness of several weeks. Mrs. Richard lived in Washington most of her life, coming from Chicot, La., as a child where she was born September 29, 1851. She was devoted to her family, being the mother of nine children, only two remaining to mour (sic) her, Mrs. Ed. Houston of Garland, Ala., and C. Albert Richard of this town, besides one brother, Benj. Frank Neyland, who resides in St. Louis, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Hy. Graff of Garland, La. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church, Rev. P. F. Jansen officiating with interment in Cedar Hill cemetery.
