Devilliers, aged 73 years, 7 months and 5 days. The funeral was held yesterday (Friday) afternoon, with services at the Catholic church and interment in the Catholic cemetery. The deceased leaves a widow, a large number of children and grandchildren. Fro (sic) some time past he and his wife have been residing in Vinton La., and only recently rturned (sic) to Opelousas. He was a native of the Teche neighborhood and member of one of the leading families of the parish. The Clarion tenders its sympathies to the bereaved relatives of the deceased.
