Mrs. Hart H. Sandoz

After an illness of short duration, Mrs. Hart H. Sandoz, nee Georgiana Marie 
Reed, died last Thursday at the sanitarium in Lafayette. The deceased had 
reached the age of 41 years and 8 months, and had all the appearance of good 
health when the sad end came.

The body was conveyed to Opelousas over the Southern Pacific yesterday 
afternoon. Upon the arrival of the train a funeral procession followed to 
the Catholic church where funeral services were held, after which the burial 
took place in the Catholic cemetery. The funeral was largely attended.

The deceased was the daughter of the late Alphonse Reed, and leaves five 
sisters, one brother, four children, a husband and a number of relatives and 
friends, both here and in Lafayette, to mourn her loss. The Clarion extends 
its condolence to the bereaved family.

NOTE: Georgiana Marie Reed Sandoz is buried in section 10 of the Saint Landry 
Catholic Church cemetery located in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
