SIBILLE Victor Hugo Sibille, one of the best known farmers and business men in this parish, died at his home in Sunset on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, ater (sic) an illness of several days. Interment took place in the Catholic cemetery at Grand Coteau on Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mr. Sibille was a member of one of the largest and mos (sic) influencial families in Southwest Louisiana. he was well and favorably known by a large majority of the people of this parish, being at one time a candidate for sheriff of St. Landry. At the time of his death Mr. Sibille was 60 years, 1 month and 5 days of age.
