MRS. LUCIA LAVERGNE

Mrs. Lucia Lavergne, widow of Jules Sittig, aged 73 years and 25 days died 
at the home of her son, Charles Sittig, at Pitreville on last Thursday 
afternoon at 4 o'clock.  Interment was made in the Opelousas cemetery at 2 
o'clock Friday evening.

The deceased was well know in the western portion of this parish.  She 
leaves several children and a large number of friends to mourn her 
departure.
