St. Landry Clarion (Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, June 16, 1906, Image 5

Mr. Trazemond Soileau, a highly respected citizen of Rayne, and father of our 
townsman, Mr. Louis Soileau, died on last Saturday, June 10, 1906, at 4 o'clock, 
aged 69 years, 4 months and 1 day. The remains arrived in Opelousas on the 2:15 
train Sunday evening, where they laid in state at the residence of his son until 
Monday morning, when they were taken to Port Barre for internment. The Clarion 
extends condolences to the bereaved family.
