Mrs. Louisa Tate Stagg

Died, at the family residence, on Bayou Boeuf, this parish, on Friday, 
December 1, 1916, at 11:30 o'clock a. m., Mrs. Louisa aged 77 years, 6 
months and 5 days. The funeral took place , Tate, widow of Philip Stagg, 
from the family residence, near Dubuisson station, on last Saturday 
afternoon at 1 o'clock, with interment in the old Bayou Boeuf chapel 
cemetery.

Mrs. Stagg was one of a well known St. Landry family and the widow of one of 
the parish's staunchest citizens. She leaves a number of children and other 
relatives to mourn her end, and The Clarion joins their many friends in 
tendering its condolences in the hour of their grief.

Louisa Tate Stagg is buried in the Dubuisson cemetery located in Dubuisson, 
St. Landry Parish, LA.
