The funeral took place , Tate, widow of Philip Stagg, from the family residence, near Dubuisson station, on last Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with interment in the old Bayou Boeuf chapel cemetery. Mrs. Stagg was one of a well known St. Landry family and the widow of one of the parish's staunchest citizens. She leaves a number of children and other relatives to mourn her end, and The Clarion joins their many friends in tendering its condolences in the hour of their grief.
