To the Clarion. - The death angel came into the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Stagg, of Bayou Boeuf, and took their dear little Mable, aged 7 years. Little Mable was their only daughter, and the pride of their home. She was loved by all who knew her. Oh! call it not death; it is life begun, For the waters are past, the home is won; The ransomed spirit hath reached the shore Where they weep and suffer and sin no more And is safe in our Fathers house above, In the place prepared by our Savior's love. To depart from a world of sin and strife And to be with Jesus - yes, this is life. A RELATIVE. Additional Comments: NOTE: Mable Stagg was born 5 Feb. 1904 and died May 1909. She was the daughter of John P. Stagg and Octavia Lafleur.
