Funeral services were held Wednesday for Mrs. A. Laurent Stagg, 62, nee Mary Kavanagh, who died at the family residence in Opelousas following an illness of a week. Mrs. Stagg who was a most beloved lady suffered a paralytic stroke during the early part of the past week after which attending physicians held little hope for her recovery. Surviving are her husband: A. L. Stagg and the following children: L. K. of Chicago; H. M. of Little Jope, Ark.; Joyce K. Satgg, New Orleans; Malcolm and Mrs. H. E. Bonvillion, Opelousas, three sisters, Mrs. M. Stagg of Rayne, Mrs. A. J. Splane, Liberty, Texas and Mrs. A. B. Anderson, Brookhaven, Miss.
