Mr. Jean Torné, who was so terribly crushed in the machinery of D. P. 
Lafleur's mill, at Chataignier, on the 5th inst., died from his injuries last 
Saturday morning. He was buried here the next day.

NOTE: Jean Torné is buried in section 10 of the Saint Landry Catholic Church 
cemetery located in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
