MRS. J. A. WALKER

Mrs. Jodie Daly, wife of J. Adrian Walker, died at the family home in South 
Bellevue, near Shuteston, last Tuesday, aged 34 years and 11 months. The 
funeral took place the following day with interment in the family burial 
ground. Mrs. Walker, the eldest daughter of Dr. O. P. Daly, Sr., leaves besides 
a husband, several children, her father, brother and other relatives to mourn 
her end. She had been seriously ill for some time and her death was not 
altogether unexpected. She was a member of one of the parish's most prominent 
families and was noted for her lovely character and charming disposition. The 
Clarion with the many friends of the deceased, in Opelousas and in Bellevue, 
joins in tendering sympathies to the bereaved husband, children and other 
relatives.
