Death of Mrs. J. D. Young.

It is with regret that The Clarion is called upon to chronicle the death of 
Mrs. J. D. Young, nee Eva David, aged 35 years, 7 months and 10 days, which 
occurred at the family residence, in Opelousas, on Wednesday morning, 
January 17, 1906, at 4 o'clock.

Deceased was stricken with pneumonia, and notwithstanding the prompt medical 
attention given her and the tender and careful ministrations of loving 
hands, the Father above claimed her and she went.

The funeral rites were solemnized in the Catholic Church, after which the 
remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery.

May Time's soothing hand heal the great heart wound.

Eva David Young is buried in the St. Landry Catholic Church Cemetery located 
in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, LA.
