St. Landry Parish Coroner's Inquest Book: 1906 - 1909 This is a continuation of the St. Landry Parish Coroners Inquest Book which appeared in Vol. 15, No 57 (April 1994), Vol. 16, Nov 63 (October 1995), Vol.1 7, No.66 (July 1996) and Vol.17, No.67, (October 1996) issues of La Voix des Prairies. A Coroner's inquest was normally performed by the parish coroner when a death was suspected of being from other than natural causes.
