Walker, as security, are held and firmly bound unto the Governor of the State of Louisiana, in the sum of Three Hundred Dollars, for the payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, by these presents. Dated at Opelousas, this 18th day of January, 1894. Whereas, a License has been this day issued by the Dty. Clerk of the District Court, in and for the Parish of St. Landry, to unite in the bonds of marriage the above bound, Eli Clark, Sr. and Miss Niddie Humphries. Now, therefore, the condition of the above obligation is such, that if there should exist no legal impediment to this alliance, then the above obligation to be null and void; else, to remain in full force and virtue.
