LANDRY Be it Remembered, that on this 27th day of April 1869 Samuel Derosier and Cleophine Ortago, both of St. Landry, at Ville Platte in said Parish, personally appeared before Mr. John P. Todd, Justice of the Peace in and for the Parish of St. Landry, together with Samuel Haas, William Foreman, and D. W. Bass, all witnesses of full ages, and residents of the said Parish, and that then and there the said Samuel Derosier and Clophine (Clofine) Ortego having produced the license signed by Law signified their desire and intentions before us, the said Justice and Witnesses to be United in the Estate of Matrimony whereupon after due proclamation made and no impedimant being suggested, they the said Samuel Derosier and Cleopine Ortego, were by me the said Justice, in presence of the said witnesses, joined in wedlock according to the Laws of the State of Louisiana and duly pronounced to be husband and wife. In testimony whereof the said parties of the said marriage hereunto affix their signatures together with me the said Justice and the said witnesses on this 27th day of April A.D. 1869, at 71 Ville Platte in the said Parish.
