All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Marriage Bond No. 942 Onesime Deshautel State of Louisiana Parish of St. Landry Know all men by these presents that Onézime Deshotel as principal of the State of Louisiana and Parish of St. Landry and Leandre Deshotel of the same State & Parish aforesaid as security are held and firmly bound unto Joseph Walker Governor of the State of Louisiana and to his successors in office in the sum of three hundred dollars which sum well & truly to be paid they bind themselves, their heirs executors and administrators jointly and severally.- In testimony whereof they have hereunto signed at Opelousas the 1st day of April A. D. 1852.- The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound Onezime Deshotel has this day obtained license to marry Miss Uranie Vidrine also of said Parish.- Now if there should hereafter appear no legal impediment to said marriage then and in that case the said obligation to be null & void.- Witness s/Onesime Deshautel A.
