(Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, November 28, 1908, Image 8 Lafleur -- Dupre. Married, at the Catholic Church in Opelousas, on Tuesday, November 24, 1908, Dr. E. Lafleur and Miss Rita Dupre, Rev. Father Engberink officiating. The contracting parties are members of the foremost families of Prairie Ronde, this parish, the groom being a son of Mr. Ertemon Lafleur, prominent farmer and merchant, and the bride being the daughter of Mr. Numa Dupre, one of the substantial citizens of that country, prominent among his neighbors as a farmer and a friend of the public schools. Dr. Lafleur, the groom, recently graduated in medicine, and has already established a lucrative practice in his native section. Miss Dupre (now Mrs. Lafleur) was the belle of the neighborhood, and all of that section joined in wishing the happy couple a happy married life. The Clarion joins with them.
