Monday morning at half past eight Mr. Isaac Litton, who is employed at the Anse 
la Butte oil field, and Miss Ethel Dupre, daughter of Judge Dupre of Opelousas, 
were married in the Episcopal church of that city, Rev. Donahue officiating. 
<r. Eben Morgan of this city was best man, and Miss Hattie Terwilliger of 
Crowley was maid of honor. The bride was charmingly dressed in a blue tailor 
made suit and black hat and the maid of honor in brown and gold with a picture 
hat. Immediately after the ceremony the newly wedded couple left for a short 
bridal trip to New Orleans. They returned yesterday and will make their home in 
Breaux Bridge. Among those present from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Litton, 
parents of the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Howe and daughter, all o (sic) Nashville, 
Tenn., Mrs. Major of Louisville, Ky., and Mr. and Mrs. Todd and Mr. Eben Morgan 
of Lafayette.
