MARRIED:
At San Antonio, Texas, on Thursday, December 27th, 1894, Mr. Steven F. Read to 
Miss Addie M. Humble, Father Smith, of St. Mary's Church, officiating.
Mr. Read was a former resident of Opelousas, and while here held the position of 
office deputy in Sheriff Fontenot's office. Miss Humble is a native of our 
neighboring town of Washington. The Clarion extends its congratulations to the 
young couple, and wishes them much happiness in their matrimonial venture.
