(Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, August 08, 1908, Image 4 Campbell -- Marcotte. Mr. Leon Campbell, of Barbreck, and Miss Ada Marcotte, of Opelousas, were married Monday morning, in Opelousas, Rev. Father Engberink officiating. The happy couple left for a bridal trip to New Orleans and Biloxi, on the 9:41 Southern Pacific train, after partaking of breakfast at the residence of the bride's mother, Mrs. Alice Leger. Those participating in the bridal breakfast were: Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Kelley, Mr. and Mrs. Pierre L. Titard, Mrs. M. Campbell, Misses Nora and Lucy Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. LeBlanc, Miss Maggie Marcotte, Asa, Leon, Zoe and Una Leger, and Mr. Clyde Hebert. The groom is one of Barbreck's examplary (sic) young men, and the bride is a lovely and accomplished daughter of Opelousas. The Clarion begs to extend felicitations and good wishes.
