Marriage – 27 June 1833

State of Louisiana 

Parish of St. Landry

To all whom these may concern, Be it known, that I George King Parish Judge in 
& for the aforesaid Parish have this day the twenty seventh of June in the year 
one thousand eight hundred & thirty three, by virtue of the powers in me vested 
by Law joined together in the holy bond of matrimony Lewis Dial and Mary Sweat 
both people of colour of this parish.

In witness whereof I have hereunto signed together with the said married 
parties in presence of Robert Taylor, James Newill, & Dixon Perry assisting 
witnesses at Opelousas this day & year above written.
