Mr. L. B. Chachere and Miss Maud White were quietly married at the residence of 
the bride's mother, Mrs. J. M. White, on Wednesday morning, only the immediate 
relatives of the contracting parties being present, the ceremony being 
performed by Rev. E. T. Denson, of the Methodist Church.

The happy twain left on the noon train for a brief visit to relatives in the 
Crescent city. We acknowledge receipt of some of the delicious cake, and in 
doing so desire to express our most sincere and earnest wishes for a long and 
felicitous journey through life's devious paths.

NOTE: The record in Father Hebert's books [CHACHERE, H. B. m. 11 June 1894 Maude 
WHITE (Opel. Ct. Hse.: Mar. # 24794)] is the date the couple applied for and 
received a marriage license. License number 24794. Then the couple were married 
at the bride's home on Wednesday June 13, 1894.
