Walker-Wiggins The Cheney Field school house was the scene of a pretty wedding Sunday, January 19, 1908, at 11 o'clock a. m., the contracting parties being Mr. Andrew Jackson Walker, Jr., and Miss Margarite L. Wiggins, both popular young people of our neighborhood, who launched out on life's terrestrial billows on the staunch little boat, "Love," with Determination, Hope and Will. Rev. J. J. Bird officiated. The school room was well occupied by admiring friend[s]. The bride was attired in white, and pronounced by all a lovely bride. The groom is one of St. Landry's prominent young men. Their numerous friends and relatives unite in wishing them a long, prosperous married life. T.
