JOS. MALONSO, ST. MARTIN PARISH.--Mr. Malonso is a native of St. Martin
parish, born in 1841.  He had very poor educational advantages as a boy, and,
consequently, his literary education is limited.  He is a successful planter
of St. Martin parish, owning a good plantation near St. Martinsville.

Mr. Malonso is united in marriage with Miss Emilice Savoy, a native of St.
Martin parish.  They are the parents of six children.  Mr. Malonso and family
are consistent members of the Catholic church.
