Alfred Dionne a well known respectable colored man recently met his death by 
drowning in the swamps of St. Martin Oarish. His body was recovered and 
brought here for interment by his family living on Bank avenue. Dionne was 
employed by Jerry Case, and the cause or circumstances of the death 
information could be obtained. Deceased leaves a wife and children.
