She was a member of the Esther Baptist Church, an active member of the Women s Missionary Union at the First Baptist Church of Lafayette, and a faithful Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Primeaux edited a family cookbook in memory of her son, Nathan. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Wallace Primeaux of Lafayette; two daughters, Becky Primeaux of Lafayette, and Mrs. Mark (Jan) Gaudin of St. Martinville; four sons, Darwin Primeaux of Tyler, Texas, Glenn Primeaux of New Orleans, Charles Primeaux of Dover, Ark., and Jon Primeaux of Lafayette; three sisters, Wilda Wells of Trinity Texas, Alma Reed of Eunice, and Betty Jenkins of Elton; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preced in death by one son, Nathan Primeaux; one sister, Marcia Pinckard; and two great-grandchildren. Fernest Schexnider Henderson--Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 1, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Fernest Schexnider, 82, who died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, at Gary Memorial Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Burial followed in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. He is survived by his wife, Eugenie L. Schexnider of Henderson; five sons, Ernest Schexnider; Ray Schexnider and Sam Schexnider, all of Henderson; Raymond Schexnider of Breaux Bridge, and William Schexnider of Cecilia; three daughters, Lydia Schexnider of Henderson, Barbara Hendrick of Cecilia and Linda Latiolais of Parks; one brother, Obra Schexnider of Cow Island; 32 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
