Necrology.

Died at the residence of her husband in St. Martinville, on Wednesday the 11th 
of October at 1 o'clock p. m., MRS. GEORGE LOVAS, at the age of 26 years, after 
a long and painful illness.

Her funeral took place from the Catholic church at half past nine o'clock, the 
following day, and her mortal remains were followed to the grave by a large 
concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives. 

The MESSENGER tenders its heartfelt sympathy to her husband and family.
