DIED.

Tuesday morning at 3:45 o'clock at his plantation home, this parish, Felix 
Potier died at the age of 69 years after having been sick a few days.

His funeral took place from the Catholic Church at five o'clock Tuesday 
evening; the remains being followed to the grave by a large number of relatives 
and friends.

Mr. Potier was one of our successful planters and a life long resident of St. 
Martin Parish.
