DIED. - Dr. Joseph Sillan, of St. Martinville died at the home of Mr. and 
Mrs. Joe Hitter on Monday, November 22. Dr. Sillan was on his wat to New 
Orleans to consult a specialist and had stopped over a the Hitter home for a 
day or two before continuing into New Orleans.

His death came very suddenly while chatting with friends.

He was a native of Paris, coming to St. Martinville when a very young man. 
He leaves his widow, formerly Miss Josephine Hitter, and a brother, George 
Sillan.

The funeral was held on Tuesday in St. Martinville.
