Landry, District Judge, Division "B", Sixteenth Judicial District, Parishes of St. Mary, Iberia and St. Martin, was elected in December, 1940 for the unexpired term of his predecessor. He was again re-elect- ed in 1942, 1948, 1954, and 1960 without opposition. Judge Landry was born in Delcambre, Louisiana, on October 28, 1900, the son of Homer Landry and Adonia Delcambre. He received his early education in Delcambre and New Iberia schools. He majored in pre-law at Southwestern Louisiana Institute and received his Bachelor of Law degree at Louisiana State University in 1924. In 1925 he was elected Iberia Parish representative and re-elected in 1928. He resigned this position in 1929 and was appointed Assistant District Attorney, a post he held until January, 1941. He was engaged in the general practice of law from 1924 to 1941. Judge Landry is married and has three sons. Among his hobbies, Judge Landry lists electronics, boating and fishing.************
