The South bend Cemetery is located off the west side of SR 317 in St. Mary 
Parish, La. at coordinates  29.623898, -91.538356.

At present (2010), there is very little remaining of the cemetery after flooding 
from hurricanes in 2005. The cemetery (2010) is surrounded by plowed field with 
a house to the north and a road to the south going west.



History: The cemetery was established by the family of Francis and Benjamin F. 
Hudson. They were Sugar Planters who originally owned South Bend Plantation.
