The defendant denies all and every fact in the plaintiff's petition and says that she has no cause of conflict with him, that he has always conducted himself in a tender and affectionate husband as he will verify, and he further prays that your honor will decree that he shall (illegible) the conduct and exclusive contract of his children, and a proper allowance shall be made him for the (illegible). He further prays that he brought into the marriage $600 and received of his worthy estate $400 which he is justified to in his own right.
