Mrs. Aucoin is survived by her son, Kerry D. Aucoin of Centerville; two daughters, Sharon Aucoin Fletcher and her husband, Glenn Fletcher, both of Garden City, and Tammy Michelle Aucoin of Franklin; daughter-in-law, Belinda Persilver Aucoin; two brothers, Donald Burns and Ernest "Tut" Burns; two sisters, Katherine "Katie" Marcotte and Thelma "Tot" Burns; seven grandchildren, Thomas Aucoin, Blaize Barrilleaux, Chace Buckner, Hailey Buckner, Breea Fletcher, Benea Fletcher and Brailey Fletcher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Michael Aucoin; her parents, Dewey Burns and Louisiana Mae Voison Burns; two sisters, Vivian "Dee" Carter and Birdie May "Bean" Sauce. The family requests that visitation be observed Thursday, September 27, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ibert's Mortuary. The funeral home will reopen Friday at 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aservice will be held Friday, September 28th, at 1 p.m., at the Teche Baptist Church in Centerville, with the Rev. Linden Marcotte officiating. Interment will follow in Teche Baptist Cemetery in Centerville. Pallbearers will be Thomas Aucoin, Blaize Barrilleaux, Chace Buckner, Glenn Fletcher, Walter Chauvin III and Walter Chauvin Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald and Ernest Burns. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin. ===================
