BOURQUE, DALTON 

Mr. Dalton Bourque, 61, a native of Jeanerette and a resident of Franklin, died 
Friday, April 6, 2007 at the Iberia Medical Center.

The family requests that visitation be observed Tuesday, April 10, at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Franklin from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The mortuary will reopen Wednesday at 8 a.m. until time of services.

Funeral service will begin Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin, 
with Bro. Blaise officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

Mr. Dalton is survived by his wife of 28 years, Melissa Laviolette of Franklin; 
nine sons, Leroy Bourque and his wife, Angela, of New Iberia; Ronald Bourque 
and his wife, Alice, of Franklin; Wayne Bourque Sr. and his wife, Shelia, of 
New Iberia; Glenn Bourque of Lafayette; Derick Laviolette and his wife, 
Charmel, of Franklin; Daniel Laviolette, Cody Laviolette and Eric Laviolette, 
all of Franklin; and Shannon Bourque of Franklin; six daughters, Mona Legnon 
and her husband, Donald, of Franklin; Gwen Bourque of New Iberia; Tamara 
Laviolette of New Iberia; Gypsy Derouen and her husband, Tommy Joe Jr., of New 
Iberia; Jeanette Laviolette of Franklin; and Erica Laviolette, also of 
Franklin; two brothers, Gabel Bourque of Youngsville and Wiley Gary of 
Franklin; one sister, Barbara Bourque of New Iberia; 18 grandchildren; three 
step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and nine step great 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Varise Bourque; his mother, Laurence 
Savoie Bourque; three infant children, Randy, Danny and Dalton Bourque; and one 
sister, Rita Gary.

Pallbearers will be Leroy Bourque. Wayne Bourque Sr., Derick Laviolette, Daniel 
Laviolette, Cody Laviolette, and Donald Legnon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Paul Legnon, Wayne Bourque Jr., Eric 
Laviolette, Austin Legnon, Dimtri Derouen, Trey Laviolette and Logan 
Laviolette.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin.
