Mrs. Norma Kelley Boykin, 71, a native of Massey, Maryland and a resident of Glencoe for 33 years died Monday, May 28, 2007 at her residence. The family requests that visitation be observed Friday, June 1, 2007, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Ibert's in Franklin. Visitation will resume Saturday, at 9 a.m., at the Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 12 noon, at the Little Pass Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Hodnett and Brother Don Whatley officiating the services. Interment will follow in St. Helen's Cemetery in Louisa. Mrs. Boykin is survived by five sons, John Russell Boykin and his wife, Danette, of Glencoe; Thomas Eugene Boykin and his wife, Maria, of Brownsville, Texas; Franklin Kelley Boykin of Glencoe; Talley Patrick Boykin and his wife, Angela, of Glencoe; and William Donald Boykin and his wife, Kathleen, of Baldwin; one daughter, Evelyn Boykin Salone of Centerville; three brothers, Robert E. Kelley Sr. of Massey, Maryland, Donald Kelley of Clayton, Delaware and James Russell Kelley of Newark, Delaware; two sisters, Kay Olliver of Chestertown, Maryland and Eileen Dugan of Wilmington, Delaware; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John Boykin Jr.; her father, Russell Kelly; her mother, Evelyn Palamatory Kelley; one brother, Thomas Kelley; one sister, Rita Savin; one son-inlaw, Troy Salone; one grandchild; and one great grandchild. Mrs. Boykin was a long time member of the Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin. ===================
