BROOKS, GLENN A. 

Glenn Anthony Brooks, 52, a resident and native of Patterson, died Saturday, 
June 16, 2007, at 10:50 a.m., at Teche Regional Medical Center following a long 
illness.

He is survived by his devoted companion, Diane Batiste of Patterson; mother, 
Ida Mae Brooks of Patterson; two brothers, Wayne Gant of Franklin and James 
Brown of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Lisa Darnell and Crystal Gant, both of 
Patterson, Quanita Brooks of Houston and Linda Gant of Franklin; and seven 
grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn an uncle, aunts, godkids, nieces, 
nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his brother, two sisters, his grandparents 
and a nephew.

Visitations will be observed Friday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Zion 
Chapel A.M.E. Church.

Funeral rites will be held Friday, at 2 p.m., at that church. 

Interment will follow in the Patterson Memorial Cemetery.

The East St. Mary Funeral Squad will perform military honors.

The Jones Funeral Home, Inc. of Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
