All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= BROUSSARD, BEATRICE Beatrice Robichaux Broussard, 97, a native of Charenton and a long time resident of Franklin and a recent resident of Round Rock, TX, died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 11:46 a.m., at her residence in Texas. Mrs. Brossard is survived by her three grandchildren, Suzanne Broussard Easter and her husband, Robert, both of Round Rock, TX; Russell James Broussard and his wife, Sydney Casselman, both of Jeanerette; and Barbara Broussard Mouton and her husband, Richard, both of Lafayette; her six great grandchildren, Fonda Oschmann Doucet, Robert Broussard II, Nicole Easter Cozadd, Alex Oschmann, April Oschmann and Kioka Broussard; one great great grandson, Carson Christopher Doucet; and her daughter-in-law, Marie Prince Broussard of Franklin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas "Nic" Birney Broussard; her son, Robert James Broussard; her father, Amede Robichaux; her mother, Amanda Verret Robichaux; four brothers, Woodrow, Wilson, Wesley and infant William Robichaux; and three sisters, Elsie Metterinch, Flavia Smart and Louella Ann Robichaux Ayo. The family requests that visitation be observed Monday, June 18 at the Church of Assumption from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a 12:30 p.m. Rosary. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, at 1 p.m., at the Church of Assumption, with Father Benoit officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Mrs. Beatrice was a long time member of the Church of Assumption, along with being a member of the Catholic Daughters for the past 24 years, a member of the Ladies Altar Society since 1980. She was the first of five generations in her family and she lived for the love of her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin. ===================
