Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Timothy P. Clements, the former Donis Ann Mire, 51, at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2007 at Evangeline Funeral Home, with Ronnie Sheats, son-in-law of Mrs. Clements, officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Coteau. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m., and will continue on Friday from 9 a.m. until service time. A native of Morgan City and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Clements passed away at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at her residence. Donis was born May 26, 1956 to Lance J. Mire and Antonia Lipari Mire, and was one of nine children. Mrs. Clements worked for many years as a waitress at Mel's Diner, where she met many new friends. She loved gardening and taking care of flowers, and doing creative projects. Most of all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband and best friend, Timothy P. Clements of New Iberia; her children, Deana Joy Sheats (her best friend) and husband, Ronnie, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, Bobby Harvey of New Iberia, and Jacqueline Harvey of New Iberia; grandchildren, Christopher Duggar, Jonathan Duggar, Zachary Sheats and Abbogayle Harvey; her mother, Antonia Lipari Mire and her husband, Tom Clark, of Springhill; her brothers, Mickey Mire of Springhill, Myron Mire of Gibson and Johnny Mire of Macon, Georgia; her sisters, Carliss Dunn and Gay Mire of Springhill, Audrey Mire and Linda Mire of Morgan City and Ann Russell of New Orleans; a dear friend, Cindy Lou Richardson of Sarepta, La.; her father-in-law, Harold Clements; and brothers and sister-in-law, Steve Clements of New Iberia, Barry Clements of Jeanerette and Paula Krieg of Youngsville. She was preceded in death by her father, Lance J. Mire; her granddaughter, Madison Marie Bosarge; her grandmother, Virginia Lipari; and her mother-in-law, Amy Clements. Pallbearers will be Timothy Clements, Myron and Johnny Mire, Ronnie Sheats, Renis Dore', Doug Davis, Christopher Duggar and Carl Krieg.
