Clyde Darby Sr., 50, a native of Franklin and resident of Thibodaux, died Sunday, August 12, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Darby of Thibodaux; five daughters; three sons; one stepdaughter; one brother, Charles Darby of Franklin; one sister, Joyce Darby of Franklin; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty Walker of Thibodaux and Lee Walker Jr. of Sealy, Texas; a special friend, Michael Stansbury; and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Mr. Darby was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ora Darby; and a stepsister. He was a truck driver with LeBlanc Bros. Cement Company in Thibodaux. Visitation will be held Friday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Williams & Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville. Visitation will continue Saturday, Aug. 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Moses Baptist Church, Canal Blvd., in Thibodaux. Services will be Saturday, at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Lloyd Jones Jr. Burial will be in the Israelite Society Cemetery in Centerville. Arrangements by Williams & Southall Funeral Home of Thibodaux. ===================
