GAILES, AARON 

Mr. Aaron "Gail" Gailes, 89, a resident of Baldwin and native of Opelousas, 
died at 11:55 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at Franklin Foundation Hospital 
following a short illness.

Visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, at Otis 
Mortuary on Willow Street in Franklin. Burial rites will be read at the 
mortuary Saturday at 1 p.m. 

with interment to follow at Special Providence Cemetery, 814 Martin Luther King 
Jr. Street, in Baldwin. 
The Rev. W.J. Otis Jr. will officiate.

Mr. Gailes is survived his wife, Mrs. Florida D. Gailes of Baldwin; five sons, 
Lesley Domingue Sr. of Virginia Beach, Artis Jackson Jr. of Baldwin, Alton 
Jackson Sr. of Breaux Bridge, Marcell Gailes of Zachary and Aaron Bradford 
Gailes of New Orleans; his daughter, Mrs. Jeanetta R. Otis of Franklin; 16 
grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and 
friends.

Otis Mortuary is in charge of prepara tions.
