HARRIS, JENNY P. 

Jenny P. Harris, 50, a resident and native of Morgan City, died Saturday, June 
23, 2007, at 7:47 p.m., at Teche Regional Medical Center following a long 
illness.

She is survived by her companion, Jim Scott of Amelia; two sons, Joseph Harris 
and Earnest Harris Jr., both of Morgan City; three daughters, Rebecca Harris 
and Mrs. Raymond (Tina Poole) White, both of Amelia, and Melissa Poole of 
Morgan City; three brothers, Charles Poole of Oklahoma, La., Darrly Poole and 
Clarence Poole of Morgan City; two stepbrothers, Raymond Poole Sr. and Phillip 
Jones, both of Morgan City; one sister, Linda Poole of Opelousas; three 
stepsisters, Elaine Craft and Elmire Johnson, both of Morgan City, and Mate 
Singleton of Texas; 12 grandchildren; one godchild; and a host of nieces, 
nephews and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and three 
brothers.

Funeral rites will be held Friday, at 11 a.m., at Free Ministries. 

Interment will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

The Jones Funeral Home, Inc. of Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
