JONES, JOHNNY, JR.

Mr. Johnny Jones Jr., 73, a resident and native of Franklin, died Thursday, 
December 6, 2007, at 9:07 p.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center 
in Lafayette following a short illness.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Barbara Thomas Jones of Franklin; three 
daughters, Lawanda Burrell and Connie Harris of Franklin and Jauanita Solete of 
Houston, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, 
nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitations will be observed Thursday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the 
Otis Mortuary Chapel in Franklin.

Burial rites will be read Thursday, at 1 p.m., at the mortuary. The Rev. Willie 
Jackson will officiate. 

Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
