All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= JUNCA, LUCY LUKE Mrs. Lucy Luke Junca, 96, a native of Centerville and a lifelong resident of Verdunville, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at 11:10 p.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Saturday, August 25, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father Thomas Habetz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Junca is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as her main caregivers, nieces, Marvel L. Baudoin and Margie L. Hebert, nephew, Camille (Butsy) Hebert; and also two of her dearest friends, Joe Vaughn and Beatrice Sanders; as well as many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rene M. Junca; her parents, Sidney Luke and Regina Chiles Luke; three brothers, Raymond, Clifford and Frederick "Dutch" Luke; and two sisters, Irene L. Hebert and Regina Luke. Mrs. Junca was an active member of the St. Joseph's Ladies Altar Society and the Kings Daughters, of which her mother was a charter member. She was also a contributing member of the Republican Party and was listed in the Senatorial Inner Circle and the American Task Force.
