Mrs. Amy Boudreaux Landry, 88, a native and a lifelong resident of Baldwin, died Monday, May 21, 2007, at 7:50 p.m., at her residence in Baldwin. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Wednesday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a 12:30 p.m. Rosary, all at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baldwin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, at 1 p.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baldwin, with Fr. Greg Cormier officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Mrs. Landry is survived by her son, Marion "Squirt" Landry and his wife, Anne, both of Baldwin; one sister, Betty Verret and her husband, Drolen, both of Baldwin; seven grandchildren, Karen Landry, Rita Luke, Amy Simoneaux, Alwin J. Landry, Kenneth Boudreaux, Chandie Prados and Stephanie Landry; 14 great grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Stella Landry of Jeanerette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alwin A. Landry; one son, Michael J. Landry; one sister, Mabel Darce; her father, Justile Boudreaux; her mother, Elda Naquin Boudreaux; and six brothers, Edward "Mule," Roosevelt, Alwin, Marcel, Johnny and Daniel "Pete" Boudreaux. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Center of Hope. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin. ===================
