All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= LARROQUE, GERALDINE Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Pierre Larroque, the former Geraldine Guillotte, 70, at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Jeanerette. Msgr. H.A. Larroque officiated. Interment followed in the Beau Pre Cemetery. Mrs. Larroque died Friday, October 19, 2007 at 10:40 a.m. at her residence in Jeanerette. Visitation was held Sunday, Oct. 21, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a praying of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Visitation resumed Monday, from 8 a.m. until service time. A native of St. Mary Parish, Mrs. Larroque had been a longtime resident of Jeanerette. She was involved in creative writing and enjoyed doing needlepoint and gardening. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She taught religion at both St. Joseph School and Four Corners. In the past, she also taught the illiterate and she loved music. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Carmelite Monastery, 1250 Carmel Drive, Lafayette, La. 70501 or to the St. Joseph School, 10917 Old Jeanerette Road, Jeanerette, La. 70544. Survivors include her mother, Mildred Barrilleaux Guillotte of Jeanerette; three sons, Pierre Henri Larroque of Lafayette, Anatole D. Larroque and his wife, Jennifer, of Jeanerette; and Jean L. Larroque and his wife, Deidre, of New Iberia; four daughters, Madeline Farmer and her husband, James, and Cecile L. Robin and her husband, Kirk, all of New Iberia, Jeannine L. Farmer and her husband, Dwight, of Coteau and Emilie L. Clements and her husband, Jarrod, of Jeanerette; grandsons, Nicholas and Dominic Farmer of Coteau, Alexander Farmer and Shea Fisher, Thomas Robin and Chase Larroque, all of New Iberia and Phillip Larroque, Oliver Larroque, Andre Clement and Joseph Clement, all of Jeanerette; granddaughters, Sara Farmer, Bridget Fisher and Olivia Larroque, all of New Iberia, and Amelia Larroque and Grace Clement, both of Jeanerette. Pallbearers will be Nicholas, Dominic and Alexander Farmer, Shea Fisher, Phillip and Oliver Larroque and Thomas and Kirk Robin.
